Trufacial FAQ

What is a Trufacial Device?

Trufacial is a state-of-the-art handheld skincare device designed to enhance the effectiveness of your skincare routine. It's an innovative, home-based solution that brings the professional quality facial experience right to your doorstep.

How does Trufacial work?

This patent-pending device works in synergy with our Trufacial serums via a 3 step process: microdermabrasion, massage and microneedling. These steps combine to enhance the serum’s absorption and ensure their active ingredients effectively penetrate into your skin. By creating a pathway for these potent formulations, the Trufacial Device maximizes their benefits, resulting in a noticeable improvement in skin texture and appearance.

What are the benefits of Trufacial?

Trufacial offers a multitude of benefits that contribute to the health and vitality of your skin. Our system works diligently to restore elasticity and firmness to the skin, achieved through deep hydration provided by our specialized serums. Smoothing lines and wrinkles becomes possible as the skin's moisture levels are significantly improved.

Furthermore, our treatments offer robust antioxidant protection, making the signs of aging less noticeable while safeguarding your skin against future damage. With the added advantage of the microdermabrasion diamond tip, Trufacial helps improve skin texture by eliminating the outer dead layer of skin and removing impurities.

The treatment is also effective in reducing the appearance of age spots and treating acne scars, all while gently exfoliating your skin. The inclusion of peptides, phospholipids, and retinoids promotes collagen production and addresses signs of aging, offering a comprehensive solution to a myriad of skin concerns. By integrating Trufacial into your regular skincare routine, you are investing in a path towards a more radiant and youthful complexion.

Is Trufacial safe?

Yes, Trufacial is a safe and non-invasive treatment suitable for all skin types. While our serums are suitable for all types, people with sensitive skin or rosacea should consult their dermatologist before using Trufacial.

What makes Trufacial different from other home facials?

Trufacial holds the unique distinction of being the only home skin rejuvenation device offering professional-grade quality, complete with a genuine diamond tip for microdermabrasion. Paired with our specially formulated serums, which have proven their efficacy in published clinical trials, Trufacial assures tangible results. This non-invasive and pain-free treatment delivers immediate, noticeable improvements to your skin's health and appearance. Further endorsing its quality, Trufacial is recommended by industry experts including dermatologists and plastic surgeons

Is there any downtime after a Trufacial treatment?

Given its non-invasive nature, you can return to your everyday routines post treatments. However, to maximize the benefits of our carefully formulated serums, it’s advisable to refrain from applying make up for 8 hours or exposing your skin to direct sunlight,  and avoiding saunas, steam rooms and hot showers for 24 hours.  For optimal results and to allow the serums to work their magic overnight, we recommend performing this rejuvenating Trufacial routine in the evening.

Are the results of Trufacial long-lasting?

While the radiant results of a single Trufacial session are temporary, they can be sustained and even enhanced with consistent treatments. This ongoing regimen allows you to maintain your beautifully polished, glowing complexion, ensuring that the beneficial effects of Trufacial become a long-lasting part of your skincare journey.

How long does Trufacial take?

A complete Trufacial treatment for the full face typically requires around 10 minutes, encompassing setup time, changing of tips and pods, and device cleaning. The treatment time may extend if multiple areas are being addressed, such as the neck, chest, hands, or any other targeted regions. However, if focusing on the face with a single tip, the process is incredibly efficient, requiring just about one minute. Trufacial makes achieving radiant skin an easy and swift addition to your daily skincare regimen.

Can anyone get Trufacial?

Trufacial has been designed to accommodate all skin types, even those with sensitive skin. Nevertheless, individuals with active facial conditions such as rashes, sunburns, or open wounds should postpone the treatment until these issues have completely healed. For your safety, avoid using the device over sensitive areas like eyes and lips. Furthermore, those with rosacea should refrain from using Trufacial. Our goal is to enhance your skin health while ensuring comfort and safety in all our treatments.

How often should I get a Trufacial treatment?

The frequency of Trufacial treatments is tailored to your individual skin needs and objectives. Given the microdermabrasion diamond tip feature of our device, many individuals choose to conduct a full treatment session one to two times a week to reap its exfoliating benefits.

However, the massaging and microneedling steps can be performed more frequently – 2 to 3 times a week. This is possible as your skin will have already been gently exfoliated from your prior Trufacial treatment, readying it for further nourishment and care. Always remember, the key to successful skincare is a regimen that respects and responds to your skin's unique requirements.

Does Trufacial treatment hurt?

No, the Trufacial treatment is designed to be a pain-free and comfortable experience. While the microneedling step may produce a minor prickling sensation for some users, it does not induce any pain. The treatment is a gentle journey towards enhanced skin health and radiance, prioritizing both efficacy and your comfort.

Are there any side effects of Trufacial?

Trufacial treatment is designed to be gentle, with minimal side effects that may include a slight redness, dryness, or a feeling of tightness in the skin. These effects are typically short-lived, fading away within a few hours after the treatment. Although infrequent, some individuals might experience breakouts or allergic reactions to the serums. To ensure the best experience with our products, we recommend performing a patch test prior to your first use. This way, you can enjoy the benefits of Trufacial treatment with confidence and peace of mind.

Can I wear makeup after Trufacial?

Following a Trufacial treatment, it's best to steer clear of makeup application for a minimum of eight hours. This recommendation is due to the gentle exfoliation and microneedling processes your skin has undergone, making it more receptive to the beneficial properties of our serums. Applying makeup too soon might lead to pore-clogging and potentially hinder the optimal absorption of these active ingredients. To maintain the radiant results of your Trufacial treatment, allow your skin a brief break before returning to your makeup routine.

How often is the microneedling roller replaced?

The Trufacial microneedling roller will get replaced every 8 treatments. However, if you need additional rollers, you may purchase them separately. Additional rollers come with serum purchase.

What is the aftercare like for Trufacial?

Following a Trufacial session, it's crucial to protect your skin from direct sunlight, saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers for a minimum of 24 hours. Your skin, having been gently exfoliated and deeply nourished, needs a period of rest from potential irritants. It's also advisable to abstain from using abrasive exfoliants or scrubs, including Retinols and acids, for a couple of days post-treatment. This allows your skin to fully reap the benefits of the Trufacial experience.

How often does the Diamond microdermabrasion tip need to be replaced?

We recommend replacing your Diamond microdermabrastion tip after 100 treatment areas, or once a year.
